Confirm CT Physical Installation (Most Common Cause)

CT check correct
Before this test, be sure you commissioned the CT check correctly in FranklinWH App.

CT Location
Must be installed at PCC: Utility Meter → CT → Main Breaker
If any house load, subpanel, or PV is wired before the CTs, aGate can’t measure it → permanent mismatch.

Identify Unmeasured Loads
Any circuit fed before the PCC CTs is invisible to aGate.
Examples: AC, pool pump, subpanel on utility side of CT → only utility meter reads it, aGate does not.
This is a permanent mismatch unless wiring is reworked.
4. Real-Time Live Comparison Test

Turn off large cycling loads (AC, water heater).

Run a fixed known load (e.g., 1500W space heater only).

Compare:

Utility meter real-time kW
-
aGate grid kW
-
If values differ greatly → CT installation/config error.

If values match closely → mismatch is from unmeasured loads or time drift.
