How does the
APS Storage
Rewards Pilot Work?
Program Overview
You will receive valuable performance incentives in the form of ongoing bill credits, helping to offset the cost of owning your battery system while also delivering important benefits to the grid.
Program Seasons
May 1 - October 31.
Territory
Arizona Public Service territories in Arizona.
Program Alignment
Events will coincide with APS peak TOU rates.
Number of Events
Up to 60 events per season.
Event Notification
You will be notified of the date and time of the event beforehand through your FranklinWH App.
Performance Measurement
Compensation is based on the average kW performance across all events and hours throughout the season (May 1 – October 31). Events are expected to last 1-4 hours.
Revenue
Pay for performance at $110/kW.
- 1. The number of events will vary depending on APS’s grid needs, but no more than 60 events will be called each season, defined as May 1 to October 31.
- 2. Events may take place on weekdays, weekends and holidays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Events will range from one hour to four hours.

Application Process
Certified installation and commissioning of the FranklinWH System
Enroll customer in the APS Storage Rewards Pilot Work through the FranklinWH App
Customer agrees to terms and conditions through the FranklinWH App
FranklinWH will need to approve the application, which triggers the utility approval process
After both approvals, the customer is enrolled into the program
