1. Split CT installed in wrong position
According to the Split CT application scenario, select the corresponding installation position schematic to check whether the Split CT installation position is correct.
1.1 Scenario D: A PV system connected to non-backup port sub-panel system Power Production Metering
Split CT2 should be installed on the L2 cable.

1.2 Scenario E: A Line-Side Sub-panel System with PV Metering
Split CT 1 should be installed on the L2 copper row of the PV SubPanel.

2. Split CT not clamped
Check that the contact surfaces of the Split CT core fit perfectly and that there is no gap between the two contact surfaces.

3. Split CT wiring error
According to the Split CT application scenario, select the corresponding wiring schematic to check whether the Split CT wiring is correct.
3.1 Scenario D: A PV system connected to non-backup port sub-panel system Power Production Metering
Split CT 2 should be connected to the CT 2 connector of the EMS module, white cable to “+”, black cable to “-”.

3.2 Scenario E: A Line-Side Sub-panel System with PV Metering
Split CT 1 should be connected to the CT 1 connector of the EMS module, white cable to “+”, black cable to “-”.

4. Split CT Damage
Check the Split CT for cable shorts or short circuit faults.
According to the Split CT application scenario, select the corresponding measurement point schematic to measure the resistance of Split CT.
Unplug the Split CT terminals and use a multi-meter to measure the resistance of the Split CT. If the resistance value is out of the range of 265-275 Ω, it means that the Split CT is damaged, please replace the Split CT components.
