San Jose, CA – Nov. 25, 2022 — FranklinWH, a research-driven company focused on next-generation residential energy management and storage solutions, is pleased to announce its Franklin Home Power (FHP) system was voted as the winning battery/storage solution in the Solar Power World 2022 Leadership Program.

As Solar Power World states: "Celebrating the companies and individuals leading the solar PV industry. Our user community voted on which companies they felt best exemplify solar leadership. Congratulations to the winners!"

FranklinWH is proud to be chosen by the Solar Power World community as the leading home energy management and battery storage brand. At the beginning of 2022, we launched FHP in the market. The reaction was huge. The industry was excited to see a new integrated home energy management and storage system, which has since disrupted the market.

The heart of the FHP system is two components: aGate and aPower.

The aGate is a home energy management center that integrates solar, battery, grid, and generator power sources and manages them to optimize the safety, reliability, and efficiency of home energy.

The aPower is a 13.6 kWh AC-coupled battery with a built-in inverter that automatically transfers between DC and AC current. It uses extremely safe LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) cells. There is also a BMS (Battery Management System) inside each aPower to monitor and control battery operations.

Homeowners can use the FranklinWH app to remotely monitor and control their FHPs. There are backup, load shifting, and self-consumption modes. Homeowners can choose the mode that best suits their needs, providing optimized energy and backup power to the home, lowering electricity bills, or living completely off-grid.

The app also controls three Smart Circuits, providing scheduled and manual operations of unique devices such as air conditioners and EV chargers.

In a world of increasing energy shortages, a photovoltaic (PV) system alone is no longer enough for a reliable energy supply. When there is no sun, the PV system will no longer work. It is better to have solar energy stored for use at all times. Also, in most jurisdictions, solar panels connected directly to a home must shut down when the grid is down. With an FHP managing energy flow, a PV system can remain running to power the home.

A home energy management system can also be used to lower electricity bills. Load shifting is the process of using battery-stored energy during peak use times, such as the afternoon and evening when demand pricing is highest and recharging the battery from the grid late at night, when demand pricing is lowest, or from solar energy during the day.

There may be dozens of home energy storage products in the market, but Franklin Home Power is a true integrated whole-home energy management and storage system that provides the most complete solution to homeowners. As we promised on day one: user experience is what we value and focus on the most.

We are honored to receive this leadership award. Thanks to everyone who supported and voted for us. Thanks to all our business partners and homeowners.
