Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Strategic Accounts, the Senior Manager – TPO Business Development will be responsible for the sales of FranklinWH battery storage products nationally, focused on Third Party Ownership (TPO) customer segment. This will require a full understanding of home battery storage applications and renewable energy financing. A successful candidate will be familiar with existing and evolving solar policy to identify and track compelling markets for sales.
The Senior Manager – TPO Business Development is accountable for building a robust and profitable business segment. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working within a fast-past US organization. Primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Identify, sell and close new customer accounts in the TPO sales vertical. Managing and strengthening relationships with existing partners to drive sales volume and profitability growth.
- Understanding client needs and delivering best-in-class solutions tailored to their business objectives.
- In conjunction with FranklinWH’s Sales Management, develop strategic sales plans to include target accounts, profitability enhancements and sales forecasts.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for FranklinWH’s largest partners, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency. Including the execution of contractual obligations, organizing and leading support teams, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency.
- Develop an understanding of competing energy storage technologies and use this knowledge to inform clients of FranklinWH’s competitive advantages and value propositions.
- Champion value selling processes and practices to maximize selling effectiveness and the customer experience.

- Comfortable working beyond normal office hours as required to meet customer expectations; an ability to travel extensively (up to 50%).
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will possess:
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in a financial product or technical equipment sales role or equivalent
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with minimal supervision.
- Proven track record of sales success and achieving revenue growth, preferably in the energy industry. Experience in sales of energy storage systems, financial products or related capital equipment and/or services is highly desirable but not required.
- Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, and presentation format.
- A bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate degree is highly desirable but not required.
