We are looking for a motivated and goal oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The primary role of the Inside Sales Representative is to generate leads, qualify prospects, and close sales opportunities by phone, email, and other digital communication channels, via homeowner leads, company leads follow up and leads assignment for installers.
This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing them with product knowledge, and supporting the entire sales cycle from lead generation to order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through inbound and outbound calls, email, and social media.
- Research potential clients and manage lead data using CRM tools.
Customer Engagement:
- Communicate effectively with prospects and existing customers to understand their needs and position relevant products or solutions.
- Conduct product presentations and demos via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
Sales Pipeline Management:
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of prospects and qualified leads, updating the CRM regularly.
- Track and report on sales metrics and pipeline progression to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Order Processing and Coordination:
- Collaborate with logistics, customer support, and external partners to ensure timely delivery and excellent customer service.
- Process orders, manage quotes, and handle customer inquiries about product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Market and Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and new product offerings to better support and inform customers.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on market insights, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align strategic initiatives and improve the customer experience.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and team-building activities.
Sales Operations:
- Track and manage records for regional sales visits, ensuring consistency and accurate documentation across territories
- Organize, update, and analyze sales data in dashboards to provide insights and actionable reports for sales team
Brand and Marketing Events Support:
- Collaborate with marketing team to prepare for events
- Serve as a brand ambassador at events; engaging with attendees to promote the company and showcase products
Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in Renewable Energy
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with CRM software Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft Office Suite.
